Biographical Notewho I am
Long before I had a job title, I was creating things: spray-paint drawings in KidPix, InDesign spreads as my school’s yearbook editor, and even a hand-coded website about my hometown. Making something out of nothing is still my favorite thing to do. And after several different job titles, I’m back to building, writing and creating things to leave the world just a little bit better than I found it. Read the full note →

Core Principleswhat I believe
- Start by observing. Ask people what they want, but trust what they do even more.
- Don’t let perfect be the enemy of done. Launch something, then learn.
- Be wide open to feedback, but treat any one person’s view as a signal, not a verdict.
- Follow your curiosity and your innate interests.
- Don’t be afraid to fail. Every day is a new day.

Electiveswhat I do for fun
I spend as much time outside as I can, whether on the tennis court, sailing the bay, or walking my golden retriever. I usually have dog treats in one pocket and my iPhone in the other, ready to capture whatever makes me stop and look. Photography is how I collect moments of awe and wonder - a collection of my photos lives at ashleybrasier.photos. Indoors, I’m a daily Wordle player, partial to a moderately challenging crossword, and easily tempted by “new & notable” nonfiction books. I love hunting for one-of-a-kind finds at estate sales and making a home feel warm and inviting.
